Golden Jubilee Scholarship Giving Ceremony 2020

The Golden Jubilee Scholarship was established on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary celebration of the school by the Old Student Association. The aim is to commend students for their outstanding performances in studies, co-curricular activities and services.

There are four different awards, namely Allan Au Award, Choi Sai Leung Award, Sik Ping Award and William and Nancy Shih Award. They are sponsored by four of our alumni, Mr. Allan Au, Ms. Shirley Choi, Mr. Thomas So and Ms. Edith Shih respectively.  

The scholarships are presented to the students who garnered the first 3 positions in Chinese Language, Chinese as a Second Language, English Language and Mathematics in the junior level. While in the senior level, they are presented to students getting the first three positions in the core subjects as well as Liberal Studies. Besides that, outstanding students in sports and arts are awarded the scholarships.  

This year, the ceremony was held on 30 October, 2020 and it was our great honour to have one of the donors, Ms. Shirley Choi to be our guest of honour. In her speech she told the students to cherish what they have and work hard to strive for the best. The most important point is, in the future they should help the ones in need, contribute to the society and make the world a better place for everyone.

This year we had a total of 84 awards, some of the parents and all teachers joined the ceremony to support the awardees. Here you can view the photos and share the joy with us.
